Notes

John G. EVANS left his parent family in Granville, OH in the mid 1850's and traveled to Missouri where he married Rachel Ann TURNER on 11 Dec. 1858 in Buchanan County Missouri. Between 1873 and 1876, they moved to Lobo twsp.,Ont. Here Mary, Musetta and Edith were born. Between 1882 and 1886 they moved to Grant twsp. Huron County Michigan. He served in the civel war and was with Sherman on his "march to the sea".
