The annual meeting of the Brian Head Snowmobile Club was held August 30, 1997 at the Brian Head Town Tent. The election of directors was held and discussion was held regarding the new Panguitch Lake Trail in locating a bridge for the Bunker Creek area along with signage for the new trail system. We hope to see more members attend the next meeting so that we may receive all of your input on upcoming events and possible fundraisers.

2nd ANNUAL OBSTACLE SNOWMOBILE HILLCLIMB - Brian Head
Hillclimbbegins at 10:00 a.m. at the "Old Chair One". Registration begins at 8:00a.m. at same location. Participation open to Everyone, several classes will be held from Novice to Modified, Women and Mens classes are open. Contact Nancy Hudecek for more details at (435) 677-2386. |
| February 27/28 '98 | UTAH SNOWMOBILE ASSOCIATION STATE RIDE AND CONVENTION - Brian Head Brian Head Snowmobile Club has been chosen to host the annual USA State Ride and Convention. Rides are scheduled with Dutch Oven lunch and Banquet to be held on February 28th where a new Arctic Cat Jag Snowmobile will be given away along with a silent auction. Volunteers will be needed from our Club to assist with the snowmobile rides between Panguitch Lake and Duck Creek. For more info. Contact one of the officers. |
| March 7, 1997 | 2nd ANNUAL DUTCH'S DUTCH OVEN SNOWRIDE - Brian Head
This is a great ride for the entire family. The ride begins at 11:00a.m. at the "Old Chair One" parking lot. Registration forms are available at the Yamaha Shop and one will be mailed to you in February '98. There will be a Dutch Oven Lunch in an open meadow and the ride will continue to Panguitch Lake where Fuel is available. |
Memberships are now coming due for the Brian Head Snowmobile Club and we are asking everyone to renew their membership, which are enclosed, along with getting friends and family to participate in the Brian Head Snowmobile Club you automatically become a member of the Utah Snowmobile Association along with all the benefits of the Association. So be sure to join and return your application in as soon as possible and Support your club.
Insurance is now available thru the USA for snowmobilers. The enclosed letter has further details. So check it out.
