Rattlesnake Trail:
Descends into the colorful heart of the Cedar Breaks
amphitheater. This longer, more rugged hike offers the experienced hiker
spectacular scenery and multi-day trip opportunities in the seclusion of the
Ashdown Gorge Wilderness Area. Any where from 6 to 12 miles - 3,000 ft.
gain/loss.
Vermillion Castle Trail:
Ascends the colorful Noah's Ark formation in First Left Hand
Canyon. It rewards the more robust hiker with spectacular views of the
Grand Castle, Valentine Peak, and Parowan Valley. 4 miles round trip -
1,250 ft. elevation gain/loss.
Spectra Point Trail:
Offers a challenging hike with spectacular views of eroded
pinnacles, arches, wildflower meadows, Brian Head Peak, and ancient
bristlecone pines. This trail offers some of the best photo opportunities in
the area. 5 miles round trip - 750 ft. gain/loss.
Alpine Pond Trail:
An excellent interpretive trail in the high Spruce - Fir forest
of Cedar Breaks National Monument. This trail can be enjoyed by the entire
family--including children. 2 miles round trip - 200 ft gain/loss.
Hidden Haven Trail:
This short but scenic trail offers a wide variety of plant and
animal life along a small creek complete with waterfalls and travertine
springs. Another trail for the entire family--including children. 1 mile round
trip - 150 ft. gain/loss.
