Navajo Lake, Minersville Reservoir, as well as wilderness ponds and spring

Indeed, it's not unusual in the same waters of Color Country to catch various
species of rod-bending trout be they rainbows, browns, brookies, or western
cutthroat.
Ric Haulenbeck, the director of Color Country Fly Fishing School, has
stalked the trout of Southern Utah with a fly for over 25 years and brings to
the fly fishing classroom a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ric offers
diversified instructional programs to meet the needs of novice to
intermediate fly fishers. *All equipment is provided! Although
special courses can be customized to fit every angler's needs. Three basic
programs are offered; novice, advance, and combo.
A great complement to any course taken is to book a guided trip to one or
more of the special waters of Color Country! Our expert guides specialize in
tailoring angling experiences that provide fond memories for years to come.
All the gear is provided so you need bring only your love of the outdoors
and enthusiasm for catching the lunkers of Color Country! We offer two
different angling adventures.
Walk a mountain spring creek or boulder strewn stream where rainbow,
brown and cutthroat trout eagerly await your streamer numph or dry fly
tours.
From a float tube, stalk hefty rainbows and browns to any of the many
productive lakes and reservoirs of the Dixie and Fishlake National Forests.
